REFERRAL PROGRAM

UrbanXConnect (Pty) Ltd Referral Program - Terms and Conditions Welcome to the UrbanXConnect (Pty) Ltd ("UrbanXConnect") Referral Program ("Program"). These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in our Program, where you can earn rewards by referring new customers to our services. By participating, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

   1. "Uzone Portal" refers to the web-based UrbanXConnect customer portal.
   2. "Referral Code" means your unique code provided through the Uzone Portal for the purpose of referring new customers.
   3. "Referral Program Reward" is a credit of R150 to be applied to your UrbanXConnect account upon a successful referral.
   4. "UrbanXConnect Services" refers to the fibre services provided by UrbanXConnect.
   5. "Referred Person" is the individual you invite to sign up for UrbanXConnect Services using your referral code.
   6. "Referrer" is you, the existing UrbanXConnect customer who participates in the program by referring new customers.
   7. “Successful Referral” is determined once the referred person's service activates on the UrbanXConnect network.

2. Program Duration

   1. The Program will run from 6 August 2024 and will end at the discretion of UrbanXConnect.
   2. UrbanXConnect reserves the right to terminate or modify the Program at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility

   1. To qualify for the Program, the Referrer must be an active UrbanXConnect customer.
   2. The Referred Person must use the Referrer's unique Referral Code and complete their sign-up process on our website.
   3. Referred Persons who are existing UrbanXConnect customers or are customers of any other service provider affiliated with UrbanXConnect are not eligible for the Program.
   4. A Referral is considered to be successful once the Referred Person's service is successfully activated on the UrbanXConnect Network.

4. Credit Allocation

   1. The Referral Program Reward will be credited to the Referrer's UrbanXConnect account after the referred service is activated.
   2. The credit is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
   3. If the credit amount exceeds the monthly subscription fee, the excess will be applied to the following month's account balance.
   4. A statement showing the credit allocation will be available on request via the Uzone Portal.

5. Conduct and General Rules

   1. Participation in the Program is conditional upon acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not participate in the Program.

6. Monitoring

   1. UrbanXConnect may monitor and record communications related to the Program to ensure proper functioning and to detect unauthorized use.

7. Changes to Terms and Conditions

   1. UrbanXConnect reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated Terms and Conditions will be posted on the website, and it is your responsibility to review them regularly.

8. Termination

   1. UrbanXConnect may terminate your participation in the program or the entire program with reasonable notice.
   2. If the Referred Person does not become an active subscriber on the UrbanXConnect network, or if their service is cancelled within the three (3) months, the Referrer will not be eligible for the referral program reward and the referral credit will be reversed on the referrer's UrbanXConnect account.

9. Severability

   1. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

10. Privacy

    1. Your participation in the Program is subject to UrbanXConnect's Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

    1. UrbanXConnect is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use or inability to use the referral channels.
    2. UrbanXConnect makes no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or functionality of the referral services and will not be responsible for any interruptions or errors.
    3. UrbanXConnect is not responsible for any errors or omissions on the Uzone Portal or related services.
