November is shaping up to be a busy month for South African gamers. There is a return to Hyrule, a new Football Manager season and a trip to Vice City on the release calendar, alongside a Worlds final to watch and local events to attend.

**The headline November 2026 gaming dates are Ocarina of Time on 5 November, Football Manager 27 from 10 November, the League of Legends Worlds final on 14 November, GTA VI on 19 November and rAge Nation from 27 to 29 November.** Below, we break down the confirmed announcements, platforms and details worth planning around.

This is a preview based on announcements available on 27 October. Release dates, event programmes and platform availability can change; the official links throughout the guide are the best places to check before making plans.

### GTA VI is scheduled for 19 November on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

Rockstar’s current [GTA VI launch page](https://www.rockstargames.com/VI) lists **19 November 2026** for **PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S**. The story follows Jason and Lucia through Vice City and the wider state of Leonida.

For PC players, the distinction matters: the announced November launch platforms are consoles. Rockstar’s current page does not provide a PC release date, so a console release should not be treated as confirmation of a simultaneous PC version.

Before launch week, check your platform’s listing for the edition you want, available storage and any confirmed preload details. Treat unofficial download-size claims as rumours until the publisher or storefront provides the figure.

### Ocarina of Time returns on Nintendo Switch 2 on 5 November

**The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time launches on 5 November, exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.** Nintendo’s [anniversary announcement](https://www.nintendo.com/my/news/article/3Uvp2H1iPLLLSnR4MJgmq1) describes a remake with overhauled visuals, voiced cutscenes, expanded dialogue, orchestral music and reworked controls.

There are new features to discover, too. Nintendo’s [overview](https://www.nintendo.com/au/news-and-articles/you-have-been-summoned-to-watch-the-new-the-legend-of-zelda-ocarina-of-time-overview-trailer/) highlights microphone interaction with Link’s ocarina and a Hall of Fallen Heroes where players can revisit defeated monsters.

That gives returning fans more to investigate than a visual refresh, while newcomers get a modern way into one of Zelda’s defining adventures. Check that you are buying the Switch 2 version when comparing editions and local retailer listings.

### Football Manager 27 kicks off from 10 November

For players whose favourite gaming stories involve a transfer gamble or a last-minute winner, **Football Manager 27 launches globally from 10 November**. The [official announcement](https://www.footballmanager.com/news/football-manager-27-launches-10-november) lists PC storefronts, console editions for Xbox and PS5, and Mobile through Netflix.

[FM27 Touch is also announced for Apple Arcade from 10 November](https://www.footballmanager.com/news/fm27-touch-launches-apple-arcade-november-10). These are distinct editions, so check the requirements and subscription arrangements for the version you intend to play.

There is an early opportunity to try the game: the [free PC and Mac Launch Preview runs from 29 October to 3 November](https://www.footballmanager.com/news/play-football-manager-27-launch-preview-free), with saves carrying into the full release. It starts at **20:00 SAST on 29 October**. Check the official preview instructions for access through your chosen storefront or eligible Game Pass plan.

### Warhammer Survivors brings a different kind of battle on 10 November

**Warhammer Survivors arrives on 10 November**, bringing characters and enemies from both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar into a fast-paced survivors game. Auroch Digital’s [official game page](https://aurochdigital.com/warhammer-survivors) describes collecting and evolving weapons while facing swarms of enemies.

The [developer’s FAQ](https://aurochdigital.com/warhammer-survivors-faq) confirms PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and mobile versions. It also says the launch focuses on single-player, so do not assume a co-op mode is included.

If your November plans already include a lengthy RPG or open-world adventure, this offers a different style of play to investigate between those longer sessions.

#### Three more PC releases to keep on your radar

The calendar also includes [Airframe Ultra on 5 November](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2522120/Airframe_Ultra/), a combat racer; [Nocturnal 2 on 10 November](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2847780/Nocturnal_2/), an atmospheric action-exploration game; and [Trees Hate You on 16 November](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4171850/Trees_Hate_You/), a trap-filled comedy adventure. Follow their official listings for requirements, demos and launch updates.

### The Worlds final gives South African fans a Saturday night to plan around

The **League of Legends Worlds 2026 final takes place on Saturday, 14 November at Barclays Center in Brooklyn**. Riot’s [updated schedule](https://lolesports.com/en-US/lolesports/news/worlds-2026-venue-event-policies) lists a 14:00 EST broadcast start, which converts to **21:00 SAST**.

That is the broadcast start, rather than a guarantee of the opening game’s first action. Check the [live LoL Esports schedule](https://lolesports.com/en-US/) closer to the final for the latest running order. For the tournament format and South African viewing calendar, see [urbanX’s Worlds 2026 guide](https://urbanx.co.za/news/lol-worlds-2026-teams-rewards-south-africa).

### rAge Nation and CONect put local gaming communities in the spotlight

**rAge Nation runs from 27 to 29 November at Fourways Mall, Level 8, Johannesburg.** The organiser’s [visitor information](https://ragenation.gg/info) lists general festival hours of **09:00–18:00 daily**.

For anyone bringing a gaming setup, the [BYOC LAN page](https://ragenation.gg/lan) advertises more than 56 hours of gaming and over 1,000 seats. A LAN booking is different from a general visitor ticket, so check your pass and its entry arrangements before packing the PC or console.

The [esports programme](https://ragenation.gg/esports) advertises more than R1 million in combined prizes across six titles. That is an aggregate advertised pool, not the prize for one match or tournament. Follow the organiser’s programme as detailed schedules are released.

Eastern Cape readers have an earlier date to consider: **CONect Geek Convention takes place on 7–8 November at Fairview Sports Centre in Gqeberha**. Its [organiser ticket listing](https://www.quicket.co.za/events/350226-conect-geek-convention/) includes retro and console gaming, LAN parties, tabletop activities and cosplay.

### Xbox’s anniversary and Steam events add more dates to the month

**Xbox turns 25 on 15 November.** Microsoft’s [anniversary announcement](https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2026/08/24/xbox-anniversary-x25-fanfest-gear-community-designs/) says players who sign into their Xbox account on console, PC or the mobile app can receive a 25th Anniversary profile badge, available through the end of 2026.

On PC, [Valve’s official events calendar](https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/marketing/upcoming_events) lists **Steam Scream V through 2 November** and **Auto-Battler RPG Fest from 16 to 23 November**. Check the live event pages for participating games and offers rather than assuming every game on your wishlist will be discounted.

### Get your home setup ready for November’s launches

A little preparation can save you from spending your first free evening watching an installation bar. Clear storage before release day, use official preload options when available and check whether the rest of the household has large updates queued.

For perspective, an **example 100 GB download takes about 2 hours 13 minutes at a sustained 100 Mbps** before overheads. That is a calculation, not an announced install size for any game here. Actual times depend on the download server, your connection and other activity at home.

Use Ethernet where practical and schedule big downloads around competitive sessions or a watch party. Faster downloads and responsive gameplay are different needs: extra bandwidth helps move files, while latency and connection stability matter during online play. For busy households, urbanX’s [guide to managing multiple gamers and downloads](https://urbanx.co.za/knowledge-hub/content-creation-streaming-bandwidth-sa/multi-gamer-household) is a useful next read.
