**Gears of War: E-Day launches on 6 October for Xbox Series X|S and PC.** Xbox also confirms day-one availability with Game Pass Ultimate.

The Coalition returns to Emergence Day, following Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago as the Locust invasion tears through their world. Built in Unreal Engine 5, the game puts the horror of that first encounter and the relationship between its leads at the centre of the experience.

For returning fans, it is a chance to revisit the beginning of the conflict with a different perspective. For newcomers, the prequel setting offers a way into the series without picking up directly after a previous game’s ending.

#### Star Wars: Galactic Racer — 6 October

The 2D action-exploration game follows Rose Belmont through a monster-infested Paris in 1499. Her whip is a tool for both combat and movement, while exploration opens up weapons, relics and new ways to tackle enemies. Konami and Evil Empire are developing the game, with Motion Twin advising.

#### Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 — 23 October

**Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 releases on 23 October** for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. Activision’s announcement confirms a campaign, multiplayer and the DMZ extraction experience.
