# Referral program

Existing UrbanX customers earn account credit for referring new customers.

## How it works

1. Log in to the web-based Uzone customer portal (not the mobile app) and open the **Refer & Earn** section of the dashboard.
2. Send an email invitation from the portal. It carries a unique referral code.
3. The referred person enters that code when signing up on the UrbanX website.
4. Once the referred service goes live, **R150** credit is added to the referrer's account, typically within 2 hours.

## Rules

- Only active UrbanX customers can refer. Non-customers cannot participate.
- Existing UrbanX customers cannot be referred.
- A referral counts only once the referred customer's service is **activated**, not at sign-up.
- Credit is applied to the UrbanX account. It is not transferable and not redeemable for cash.
- Unused credit carries over to the following month.
- If a referred service is cancelled within 3 months, the referral credit may be reversed.
- There is no limit on the number of referrals.
- The Refer & Earn section is web-portal only; it is not available in the My ISP mobile app.
- UrbanX may change or end the program at any time.

If a referral was not credited, contact support with the referral code and the referred customer's details.
