UrbanX offers a VoIP voice service over the fibre line.

## What is included

- Calls to South African destinations, **including calls to mobile numbers**.
- A wired VoIP handset is included with the service.
- Number porting: bring an existing number across for a **R150 once-off** fee, so the number is retained.

## Not included

- International calls are excluded from the bundled minutes.

VoIP runs over the UrbanX fibre line, so call quality depends on the line being stable. Jitter and packet loss degrade voice before they degrade browsing — if calls break up, the diagnostics under `/support-robotics` will show whether the fault is local Wi-Fi, the router or the line.
